Hacker Camps
From Hack Story
Northern Europe has a system of hacker camps which happen more or less every 2 years since the early years of the 21st century. Roughly, every 4 years it happens in the Netherlands and every other 4 years it happens in Germany. The camps in the Netherlands have different names and the camps in Germany are always called Chaos Communication Camp. The camps in the Netherlands are organised by different legal entities and the camps in Germany are organised by the Chaos Computer Club. The camps draw several thousand participants over a few days. The conference programme is complemented and overshadowed by a whole range of self-organised spaces, events and opportunities.
